"I will preface this with: I have not had the chance to put a ton of rounds through this yet, due to it being well bellow freezing where I am. So it is best to check some other reviews on the non-cerakote version for a more thorough review of shooting performance.
With that being said, the handful of mags I put through it so far have gone off without a hitch, but this gun is definitely temperature dependant. Once you hit around the 3rd reload (refilling the same mag w/ BB's and gas) you will start to notice a drop performance. If you plan to run it fast and frequent in games, probably best to grab at least 1-2 extra mags, but again this is just based on a handful of mags through the gun in sub-freezing temps. Should also note, if you have smaller hands this may be a hard gun to grip and still manipulate everything. I have average hands and I still need to use the smaller backstrap.
I have been mainly using this for dry fire drills as of now, in and out of a molded kydex holster and manipulating fire controls. The tough safety some other review have mentioned seems to have lightened up with use, still requires some force to re-engage, ultimately training and practice will make the thumb movement easier. The Cerakote isn't too bad, overall consistent finish and coverage with only minor blemishes in the coat that are hard to spot. Mine has started to wear through both the Cerakote and the base balck finish on the front edge of the slide after about 100 draws from a kydex holster, but to be expected with kydex. One major plus compared to the non-Cerakote version is the thread protector (not pictured, but comes w/ mandated orange one) is not glued on and easy to remove, making complete disassembly for cleaning and lubing actually possible.
Overall, this is a great gun and such a vibe. There is a reason I got an airsoft version for force on force training to go along with my real steal. The performance is there and while I am slightly disapointed in the Cerakote durability, wear and tear on a finish is only cosmetic and bound to happen eventually.
